Have lunch and walk under the rainforest at Pile Valley and Central Station
Swim in beautiful lakes, rivers and natural pools; Lake Wabby or Lake McKenzie, Eli Creek,
Four Wheel Drive the 75 mile beach to Eli Creek, Maheno Ship Wreck, Pinnacles and much more.
Get an awesome deal and have loads of fun on K'Gari while driving one of our Pink Troopys (Toyota Land Cruiser 4wds) and Pajeros, while following an experienced guide in a lead vehicle

If travelling alone or in a small group it is no problem. We will arrange single travelers into a group of other like-minded travelers Things to note:

Pick up for the tour 8.15am from the Woolshed.
Food shopping with the group on the morning of departure.
Returning at 6:30pm on the second day (due to K'Gari's remote location we recommend that you don’t book bus departures for the return evening, sometimes the barge can be late or held up)
No off-road driving experience necessary, you will be briefed and shown the correct methods. There is no pressure to drive, you are more than welcome to be a passenger!
Drivers must be 21 years or over but passengers’ don’t need to be

Day bag with Swimwear and a change of clothes

$2 coins for hot showers

Warm clothes (Island can get cold at night time)

Must be booked directly via phone, email or through our BOOK NOW page, please let us know your full name, dietary requirements, dates you’d like to do Fraser tour and stay with us. Tour departs Tuesday. Woolshed accommodation upgrades are available on request at an extra cost. Cancellation within 48 hours or less is non refundable.

I have stayed multiple times at the Woolshed and think it's one of the best accommodation places I have ever stayed in. The lovely couple who run it are always helpful and accommodating and full of suggestions for things to do in the area and tours to book on to. The Woolshed itself has a bohemian feel, with bright spacious rooms and clean facilities. The garden in the middle is a little oasis of tropical plants and a pond with green tree frogs chirping at night. The garden comes with a BBQ area and hammocks! There is a good kitchen with clean utensils for preparing meals too. If you're coming to Hervey Bay I highly recommend staying at Woolshed Eco Lodge

From travelling the east coast, the Woolshed has definitely been the nicest place to stay. Everything is very chilled out, yet everything is spotless. The two showers are large and clean plus the kitchen is super tidy - the family atmosphere and warm welcome is fantastic. So much nicer than staying in traditional accommodation!

Comfortable room and quality facilities, friendly staff and a good atmosphere in general. Good kitchen and lounge, TV and fridge in the double rooms with ensuite bathroom. Clean and tidy. The proprietors are nice and it’s worth a visit. If you don’t have a proper 4WD then consider taking their tours.

Friendly and helpful staff - we booked our tour to Fraser Island with them and they were great. Really loved my stay here. The Woolshed had a lovely kitchen area and lots of greenness, hammocks and plants in the courtyard. Plus the owner is a genuine and lovely man! Perfect for a relaxed few days.
